FRAMING

We view framing as an art and learning process in which we help our clients to develop their sensibility for combining color, shapes, and decorative patterns in relationship to the individual works of art that they are framing.

Our framing department offers a wide variety of mouldings. What you see below is a small selection of our gold, silver, and wood profiles. We have a wide array of hand-finished gold- and silver-leaf frames and filets. In addition, our inventory includes hand-painted finishes and stains and specialty woods, including tiger-leaf maple and a wide selection of oak, cherry, and mahogany. We are able to make just about any kind of profile, and match any color for wood or different types of color of silver and gold.

We also offer an abundant selection of paper, linen, suede, and silk mattes. We use only acid free mats.

The Phyllis Lucas Gallery/ Old Print Center has over half a century of experience in dealing with designers, private collectors, and architects. We cater to a wide variety of budgets (including serving clients under budgetary pressures).
